Making Miles Matter Part 2

Since I wrote last week about what I wanted to do with my August miles.  One of my running in honor of warriors gained his angel wings.  He was a local boy to me and while I did not know him or his family, I have friends who did.

Something his mother said in one of her Caring Bridge posts shortly before he gained his wings really resonated with me...
"We would so appreciate you remembering and honoring by doing what you can to further pediatric cancer research so that one day no child or family has to live this incomprehensible nightmare."

That was the impetus for this month's making my miles matter.  But I have decided to take it up one notch. So with all of that being said, I have decided that for every mile I run this month, I am going to personally donate $1.00 per mile to my fundraiser.

Here's where you come in.  Would you please consider donating a mile or two also?  It doesn't have to be much.  Every donation coupled with mine will be such a help. I'm not just talking about helping me make my goal.  I'm talking about helping St. Jude to continue doing what they are doing and providing hope, groundbreaking care and research for those that need it.

For reference last month, I ran 85 miles.  This month, I'm already at 27.62 miles (will be evening it up tonight because I'm OCD that way).  My goal is for at least 90 miles.

Who wants to help out? Just one dollar per mile. Will add up.  My donation page can be found here

or the direct link:

Every donation made in the month of August will be entered in to win a $25.00 gift card of their choosing.

Thanks as always for your support.
